IG-DOWN respects intellectual property rights and adheres to the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
1. Service Architecture Notice
IG-DOWN does not host, store, or cache copyrighted media on its servers. Our software functions strictly as a client-side parser that resolves publicly accessible media streams hosted on Instagram's content delivery network (CDN). If you wish to remove content from the web, you should contact the original Instagram account holder or submit a report directly to Instagram/Meta.
2. Submitting a DMCA Notice
If you believe that your copyrighted content is being indexed or referenced improperly through our service, you may submit a formal DMCA takedown notification containing:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- The specific URL(s) on our service where the material is referenced.
- Your legal name, address, telephone number, and official email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is unauthorized.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- An electronic or physical signature of the authorized representative.
