Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
When you use IG-DOWN, you paste Instagram URLs into our input field. We do not store these URLs, the media files downloaded, or any personal account credentials on our servers.
1.2 Automatically Collected Technical Data
Standard web server access logs temporarily capture non-identifying technical data for security, DDoS protection, and rate limiting:
- IP Address: Used strictly for rate limiting and fraud prevention. Automatically purged periodically.
- Browser & Operating System: Used to render the optimal mobile or desktop layout.
- Timestamp & HTTP Status: To monitor server health and resolve uptime issues.
2. What We Never Do
- We never ask for or store your Instagram password, session tokens, or login credentials.
- We never store or host downloaded videos or photos on our servers. All media is streamed directly from Instagram CDN endpoints.
- We never sell, rent, or share user data with third-party advertising networks.
- We never track your personal activity across third-party websites.
3. Third-Party Services & CDN Endpoints
When you initiate a media download, your browser establishes a secure connection to Instagram's official content delivery network (Meta Platforms, Inc.). Media downloads are governed by Instagram's own Privacy Policy.
4. Data Retention & Security
Any temporary proxy streams or technical access logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days solely for security monitoring. All communication between your device and IG-DOWN is protected with industry-standard 256-bit TLS/SSL encryption.
